I filed a formal complaint as this is absolutely not acceptable to me! The five-and-a-half hour jaunt from the San Diego area to Greater Phoenix is nearly a straight shot that takes you from coast to cactus, with plenty of. This was by far the worst customer service i have ever received from Greyhound. I paid the money but had to now wait over 7 hours for the next departure, meanwhile the original bus was still in its bay. The same greyhound employee, while still chewing on his food, told me I could pay for a transfer and that it would cost me $20.00. There was absolutely no reason why I shouldn't have been able to board that bus as it was late for departure anyway. One greyhound employee did not even bother to help as he was chewing on his food and was waiting to get off work.
The luggage doors of the bus were still open. I knocked on the door to the bus area and I was completely ignored. I arrived at the Sky Harbor depot on Buckeye Road in Phoenix 12 minutes before the scheduled departure. I booked a bus trip from Phoenix to San Diego on 20-April-2017 to depart at approx 2:00 AM and to arrive in San Diego at roughly 10:00 am.
